Module 4 Blog Post: The Voice: Integration With Live Television
After analyzing The Voice: Integration With Live Television, it's safe to say that the show found great ways to make viewers feel connected to The Voice experience. They successfully captured their audiences attention by adding features and aspects to the show that allowed them to be a part of the process of finding "The Voice" or the winner of the season. More specifically, they offered instant save voting, behind the scenes filming, and made content based on what their fans requested or wanted to see specifically. This made their viewers felt like they were actually participating in the process of the show and how it plays out. Both social and consumer aspects were met by the balance of interaction between fans and the show (ie live voting, etc..) alongside live on air shows and performance, making each episode feel like the viewer was there at a live event and elimination round. Digital consumer needs were balanced through proper social media management. Specifically done so in algorithm-based content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more. Each different target the Voice has on each platform can find content tailored to their preferences on the show. However, an improvement that could be made in order to better engagement time with viewers is to simplify their experience. It's really overwhelming to see multiple different videos on different platforms everyday by the same account. Utilizing cross-posting will definitely be extremely useful for The Voice in the future. This will keep viewers engaged in the future as well.
